About the project:
The award for the ‘Enabling flight and operational management’ category goes to TechEagle – an on-demand drone airline that is transforming healthcare logistics in India. TechEagle can deliver vital medicine, vaccines and blood to remote areas, significantly reducing delivery time from over eight hours by road to less than 28 minutes by drone. Currently in India, 3 million units of blood are collected with approximately 1 million units going to waste due to mismanagement. TechEagle has helped to reduce this waste by 50%, helping to save thousands of lives in the meantime.
